随着人类对能源需求越来越大，对产品能效的管控和监督也越来越透明。欧盟为了消费者能够查询购买产品的能效等级信息，建立了欧洲能源标签产品数据库EPREL (European Product Database for Energy Labelling)。对产品供应商来说，这意味着产品在进入欧盟之前，又有了新的要求—需要在EPREL系统中注册产品的能效信息。
EPREL登记的时间节点：
1. 在2019年1月1日之后，欧盟能效标签授权法案范围内的产品，进入欧盟市场之前，供应商（制造商，进口商或其授权的代表）需要在EPREL系统做登记(欧盟能效标签产品注册)。
As of 1 January 2019, suppliers (manufacturers, importers or authorized representatives) need to register their appliances, which require an energy label in the European Product Database for Energy Labelling (EPREL), before selling them on the European market.
2. 在2017年8月1日到2019年1月1日期间进入欧盟的产品，则需要在2019年7月1日之前完成在EPREL系统(欧盟能效标签产品注册)的登记。
For products placed on the EU market between 1 August 2017 and 1 January 2019, their registration can be done until 1 July 2019.
3. 在2017-08-01之前进入欧盟的产品，可以选择自愿性登记。
For products placed on the EU market before 1 August 2017, their registration is made on a voluntary basis.
需要注册的产品
目前来讲，并不是所有进入欧盟市场有能效标签要求的产品都需要注册。但是后期控管注册产品的范围会越来越广。目前需要在EPREL系统中注册的产品如下（14大类）：
空调，烹饪电器，洗碗机，加热器，灯具，灯泡，局部空间加热器，家用制冷设备，专用制冷设备，固体燃料锅炉，电视机，滚筒干燥机，轮胎，真空吸尘器，住宅通风设备，家用洗衣机。

— Heaters (space and water heaters); -Lamps; -Local space heaters;
— Refrigerating appliances (household); -Refrigeration(professional);
— Solid fuel boilers; -Televisions; - Tumble dryers; -Tyres; -Vacuum cleaners;
— Ventilation units (residential); -Washing machines (household);
需要登记在数据库上的信息包括：能效标签、技术资料及符合性证明。
Product information to be entered in the database relates to the energy label, technical documentation and compliance information.
需要先创建一个帐户。
从2019年第2季度开始，消费者可以通过EPREL数据库查询到产品能效标签和信息。
Consumers will be able to search the EPREL database for energy labels and product information sheets as of the second quarter 2019.
