The ErP Directive is a CE-certified energy efficiency certification component that began its mandatory implementation in 2013.
ErP = Energy-related Products, ie energy related products. Refers to any product that has been placed on the market or has been delivered for use, and that will have an impact on energy consumption during its use. It includes those components of energy-related products covered by the ErP Directive, which are delivered to the market or delivered for use as independent components to end users, and they should be able to be independently assessed for environmental impact.
The ErP Directive is the new European CE mark regulation. As a CE mark directive, the requirements of the ErP directive will be implemented together with other requirements including safety regulations, electromagnetic compatibility, and radio.
