What is IC certification
IC is the abbreviation of Canada Industry Canada. As a government agency, it stipulates the testing standards for analog and digital terminal equipment, takes charge of the certification of electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market, and stipulates that EMC certification must be passed for imported electronic products. Its responsible products are roughly radio and television equipment, information technology equipment, radio equipment, telecommunication equipment, and engineering medical equipment. Similar to the FCC in the United States, ICs currently only have restrictions on electromagnetic interference.
The two main ways of IC certification:
(I) IC self-declaration
(II) IC ID Certification
The need for IC certification
IC certification is the permit for electronic and electrical products to enter the Canadian market. Only through EMC certification can enter the Canadian market for sales, is a guarantee of quality, easier to obtain the favor of customers.

IC certification
(a) The manufacturer or agent submits a preliminary oral or written application to the certification company.
(b) The applicant fills out the application form, sends the application form, the product's instruction manual and technical documents to the certification company and, if necessary, provides a prototype.
(c) The certification company prepares plans and quotes.
(4) The applicant confirms the quotation, signs back the quotation, and sends the samples and related technical documents to the certification company.
(v) The applicant provides technical documents.
(6) The certification company shall issue a notification of the fee to the applicant, and the applicant shall prepay the certification fee in accordance with the notification of the fee.
(7) The certification company reviews technical documents and organizes related certification activities.
(8) If the technical documentation is incomplete or does not use the prescribed language, the certification company will notify the applicant of improvement.
(ix) If the test fails, the certification company will promptly notify the applicant and decide whether to suspend the project and allow the applicant to improve the product. The applicant should make changes to the technical data in the original application in order to reflect the actual situation after the change.
(x) In the rectification charges referred to in Articles 9 and 10 of this page, the certification company will issue a supplementary charge notification to the applicant.
(11) The applicant shall pay for the rectification according to the supplementary charge notification requirements.
(12) The certification company provides the applicant with test reports or technical documents and certificates.
IC ID certification
Steps (a) to (twelve) are equivalent to IC certification
(13) Test reports and materials submitted to the FCB/TCB for review and certification.

2.IC ID number (up to 14 digits, CN (company code 6 digits) + product code 8 digits)

4. Block diagram: It is necessary to draw all the crystals and the frequency of the crystal, and keep the same with the circuit diagram;
5. Circuit diagram
6. Line description: The requirements are in English, and the function implementation principle of the product is described clearly;

9. The location of each type of label (IC cannot be serialized) and the location of the label: The label must have an IC ID number, and the location of the label must be significant;
10. Product internal photos, appearance photos: request the picture clear and clear, add notes if necessary;
