        What is CU-TR Certification    

    

        According to the agreement signed by Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan on 2010.10.18, "Common Criteria and Rules for Technical Specifications of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, and the Russian Federation," the Customs Union Committee is committed to formulating uniform standards and requirements for product safety.                                    Unions Custom Technical Regulations certificate: It is the only proof that this product meets the technical regulations of the customs union. The certificate applies to: Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
From February 15, 2013 onwards, all products that fall within the scope of the certification of the Russian White Harbin Customs Union (CU) are subject to mandatory CU-TR certification. As of March 15, 2013, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus have stopped issuing GOST certificates for their old regulations.
Product Range
   Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus all have their own GOST standard system. After forming the Customs Union, the member states of the Union quoted a large number of European Standards and International Standards Committee ISO standards. Some standards retain the original European standard or ISO standard number during the reference process.
According to Resolution No. 526 of the Alliance Commission on January 28, 2011, there are 61 categories of products that require CU-TR certification. February 15, 2013 began to be implemented in batches. The list of specific certified products is as follows:

        Certificate classification

CU-TR certification: The certification body and testing laboratory (center) that are registered and certified by the customs union shall issue a certificate of conformity to any customer. Can apply. At present, a single batch of CU-TR certificates needs to be sent to foreign countries for testing; batches of 1 year, 3 years, and 5 years must be audited by foreign experts and tested abroad.

CU-TR conformity certification: According to the declaration of conformity of the certification body of the Customs Union on the basis of its own products, more than 90% of the products in the current mandatory list require the CU-TR conformity declaration certificate. This certificate can only be used as a certificate holder. The application needs to provide trade contracts and business licenses for foreign customers, and it can be exempted from sample testing and factory audits.

The Customs Union CU certification applies to Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The entire territory of the three countries has the same legal effect in any place within the Customs Union. The validity period of the customs union CU certification is divided into: single-batch certificate; 1-year certificate; 3-year certificate; 5-year certificate. Single-batch certificates need to be submitted for supply contracts with CIS countries; certificates with validity periods of one year or more are called continuous certificates and can be exported multiple times within the validity period. Experts of certification bodies are required to conduct factory audits. The factory must have an ISO 9001 system certificate.

Application Procedure
1. Applicant for the certificate
The applicant for the CU certificate must be within the territory of the Customs Union For a company or entrepreneur, the name of the foreign company can only be embodied on the certificate as a manufacturer. When applying for a certificate, it is necessary to provide the applicant's company registration certificate, tax registration certificate, company telephone number, address, and the position and name of the responsible person.

2. Steps
Step 1: Fill in the Customs Union CU-TR certification application form and confirm the export product name, model number, quantity, product customs code.
Step 2: The certification body confirms the product category based on the customs code and product information and determines the certification scheme.
The third step: The manufacturer submits Russian data and technical documents, test reports, and CIS country supply contracts according to the certification scheme of the certification body.
Step 4: The certification body expert goes to the production plant for product testing and quality system review (if necessary)
Step 5: The production plant will modify the product data file or the quality system documentation according to the institutional expert opinion (e.g. The initial audit failed.
Step 6: The certification body makes a draft certificate, and the applicant confirms that the draft is correct and returns it to the organization.
Step 7: Issue the certificate.
