What is Malaysia Sirim Certification
With the development of trade, the safety and quality requirements of buyers and consumers have been increasing. The Malaysian government stipulates that if products are shipped to Malaysia on a regular basis, suppliers need to apply for product certification. In 1998, Malaysia promulgated the new Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, which provided detailed specifications on the access conditions for telecommunications services and telecommunications markets in Malaysia.
At the same time, the new telecommunications regulatory agency, the Malaysia Communications and Multimedia Commission (CMC), was born.
According to the "Communications and Multimedia Law," communications equipment placed on the market needs to apply to the CMC or the CMC-designated certification body for type certification, and obtain equipment certification and certification marks.
Communications Equipment Type Certification The Communications Equipment Testing Section (CETS) under SIRIM is responsible for specific certification issues.
SIRIM is the only certification authority in Malaysia. All electronic products entering Malaysia require SIRIM certification. In principle, the applicant should be a local institution in Malaysia. SIRIM certification application and management is specifically responsible for SIRIM QAS International, which issued SIRIM certificates.

Factory Inspection Requirements
The first factory inspection must comply with the product certification system. Once it is compliant, the certificate will be issued. The certificate is valid for one year.
