According to the "Communications and Multimedia Law," communications equipment placed on the market needs to apply to the CMC or the CMC-designated certification body for type certification, and obtain equipment certification and certification marks.
Communications Equipment Type Certification The Communications Equipment Testing Section (CETS) under SIRIM is responsible for specific certification issues.
SIRIM is the only certification authority in Malaysia. All electronic products entering Malaysia require SIRIM certification. In principle, the applicant should be a local institution in Malaysia. Factory Inspection Requirements
