What is Australian RCM Certification
RCM is an abbreviation of the regulatory compliance mark. The main products to be manufactured are telecommunications products, radio communication products and electrical products.
Electrical products are mainly non-regulated and controlled products, because not all products marked with RCM need to be registered. Non-regulatory products do not need to be registered. At present, only Level 3 electrical products are required to be registered, and a total of 56 major categories including power adapters and vacuum cleaners are included.

Due to the requirements of the new RCM, unlike in the past, except that the importer will bear the high risk of unqualified product quality, and the importer needs to pay the registration fee and the annual fee for registration, very few companies provide this service.
Certification Application Process
1. Third-party laboratory evaluation products to determine the test criteria to be performed;
2. If a test fails, the laboratory will rectify the product to meet and meet Australian Standard requirements;
3. Pass the test and issue a test report;
4. submit a test report to the Australian issuing authority for document review;
5. The Australian audit passed and issued the RCM certificate;
6. Customers may complete their Australian website registration on their own or through the laboratory;
Related application
1. If the product has CB and country differences, you can go directly to the Safety Certificate. Together with the EMC part, the agent can help the announcement. The product can be sold to Australia and marked with RCM MarK.
2. Safety Certificate: When applying for the safety part, if the product is a direct plug in, you need to do AU Plug Test(Test Standards: AS/NZS 3112:2004) for this product, if the product is Desktop , you do not need to do this test.
