Australian A-Tick certification guidelines
Since November 2001, EMI applications from Australia and New Zealand have been merged; if the products are to be sold in both countries, the following documents must be prepared before sale to prepare for inspection by the AA (Australian Communications Authority) or the Ministry of New Zealand (Ministry of Economic Development) at any time :
1) The test report must be issued by NATA or NATA interoperability agencies, such as the NVLAP or A2LA accredited laboratories, to be valid; otherwise, the required sample delivery test record rate is very high;
2) It must be signed by an Australian or New Zealand company or importer. The vendor responsible for the signature is responsible for ensuring that the products sold still comply with EMI regulations;
3) original design artwork and specifications (eg circuit diagrams, block diagrams, User’s Manual, Service Manual, etc.);
4) Describe production inspection procedures during production to ensure the maintenance of EMI characteristics;
5) Any changes that will affect EMI and necessary test records.
