The "Measures for the Control of Pollution Caused by Electronic Information Products," also known as "China ROHS," restricts harmful substances in electronic information products placed on the Chinese market.

China ROHS certification process:

1. Submit application information

2. Verify and modify application information

3. Submit samples and raw materials

4. The laboratory sample split gives the total price of the report and testing fees;

China ROHS certification scope:

China ROHS testing standards:

GB/T26125-2011

The "Measures for the Control of Pollution Caused by Electronic Information Products," also known as "China RoHS," was implemented on March 1, 2007. It limits the use of hazardous substances (mercury, lead, hexavalent chromium, cadmium, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated diphenyl ethers) in electronic information products that are placed on the Chinese market. In order to promote the pollution control of China's electronic and electrical products, on June 4, 2010, the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Energy Conservation Department) organized a symposium on the revision of the “Measures for the Control of Pollution Caused by Electronic Information Products” in Beijing. The meeting informed the implementation and implementation of the "Measures for the Control of Pollution Caused by Electronic Information Products" (hereinafter referred to as the "Administrative Measures"), and introduced the revised background, proposed revisions, and related work arrangements of the "Administrative Measures."

On May 18, 2015, the “Administrative Measures on the Restricted Use of Harmful Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)” (hereinafter referred to as the “new version of the Regulations”) was published on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The purpose of the drafting of the new version of the Administrative Measures is to Control and reduce the environmental pollution caused by the discard of electrical and electronic products, promote the production, sale, and import of low-pollution electrical and electronic products and resources, and protect the environment and human health.

Once the new version of the management measures is formally implemented, it will have a great impact on the production, sales, and import of electrical and electronic products related units within the People's Republic of China. Although the standard has not yet been formally released, companies still need to understand and grasp the technical content of the new standard, and conduct supply chain surveys so that the standards can be dealt with promptly when implemented.
